On Thursday the 9th, our local newspaper is doing a spotlight or special interest spot on Madeleine. The Tecumseh Herald has a circulation of 5,000 customers, plus sold at all the local restaurants etc. And I believe it will also be posted on their website.

That's a huge amount of people Maddie will be exposed to! With this website address and pics and everything. We are very excited about it.

Also, we are doing a fundraiser this weekend (the 11-12th) for her at The Appleumpkin Festival in downtown Tecumseh. Our booth will be on the west side of N. Ottowa St.

We will be selling plants from Heritage Perennial Farm (with a percentage of the proceeds going to Maddie) and we will have a raffle for donations from various local businesses, (a $25 gift cert from Jerry's Market, a $10 gift cert to JBar Hobbies, an assortment of wine jellies from Pentamere Winery, a $10 gift cert from Martin's Home Center, an as yet undisclosed donation from The Boulevard Market, that Fancy wine and Cheese place in town, and hopefully much more - still talking to folks.) We may also do a 50/50 drawing.

And we are participating in the Great Grape Stomp, which I am not entirely sure how it works but whoever stomps the most juice out of the grapes wins something.

AND the best news yet is...... Madeleine is finally big enough to hang out in her Johnny Jump Up!
